New diamond fund appeals to growing investor interest in real assets
February 2009 - A fund offering access to physical diamonds is being launched to take advantage of growing investor appetite for tangible assets according to Tara Loader Wilkinson at WealthNet. The KPR diamond fund will capitalise on the price appreciation of top quality colourless diamonds and is the latest in a trend toward so-called real assets that is hoped will avoid the turbulence in the securities markets as evidenced by the recent rise in gold prices to a seven year high.
