2008 was a year of delayed art fund launches
January 2009 - Delayed launches were a common occurence in 2008 for art investment funds, with reasons varying from difficulties fundraising to investors getting nervous at the last minute. The Bernard Madoff scandal means that launching funds is likely to become even more challenging in 2009.
